Rachel Phillips, LISW, CSW

Rachel is a compassionate therapist who has dedicated her career to walking alongside people as they heal from trauma. She understands how overwhelming and isolating painful experiences can feel, and she is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where healing is possible.

Rachel works with teens (15+), young adults, and adults, and has extensive experience helping individuals process and recover from many forms of trauma—including abuse, neglect, loss, and interpersonal violence. She knows that trauma looks different for everyone, and tailors her approach to meet each client exactly where they are in their journey.

As an LISW and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional – Level II (CCTP-II), Rachel brings advanced training in trauma-focused care. She is also trained in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). She combines these approaches to help clients build coping skills, process difficult experiences, and rediscover their sense of strength and resilience.

Clients often describe Rachel as warm, understanding, and easy to talk to. She works to build a trusting relationship where clients feel empowered to take back control of their lives and move forward with hope.

Whether you are a teen navigating big emotions, a young adult adjusting to life transitions, or an adult working through the lasting impact of trauma, Rachel is here to support you. She is also bilingual (English and Spanish), making therapy more accessible for a wider range of clients.

Rachel’s promise:

“My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you feel understood, respected, and empowered. I will bring compassion, experience, and proven strategies into our work together, always honoring your unique story and pace. Healing is possible—and I am committed to helping you move toward a brighter and more fulfilling future.”
